Bob Schoenfeld

Mon, February 26, 2018 10:42 AM | Michael Frontz (Administrator)

With sadness I am relaying the news of the passing of Dr. Robert Schoenfeld last month, at his retirement home in Vancouver WA.  Bob was an instrumental figure in the foundation of S.A.T., and he served as treasurer for over 10 years.  It is largely through his leadership that S.A.T. is in the successful financial position that it is today.  Many of us in the organization who had the pleasure to know Bob and work with him will never forget his warm smile and good nature.  A card and note of sympathy was sent to Bob's widow on behalf of the membership.

I met Bob at my very first SAT meeting as a student. He was very nice and welcomed me to the organization. Thank you for posting this message. I have thought of him often since those days.

    Hi Mike,
Thank you for letting us know about Bob. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I met Bob at my first SAT Meeting in 1989 while working at the OK CME Tox Lab. He was definitely instrumental to the founding of SAT and was so welcoming to members new & old. I always appreciated working with him on annual audits & the many years I served as the SAT Membership Committee Chair.

I will certainly miss him at the SAT social events!

    Best wishes,
    Brenda Snodgras
